Liber8fit Underground was built by two friends with the desire to spread health and wellness within the community. Our concept of blending traditional strength training with the mindful practice of yoga allows us to bridge the gap between two important aspects of fitness; the grit and intensity you want, with the focus and recovery that you need. Our signature Hybrid8 class integrates them together in a unique and functional way. Liber8Fit is a space where all are welcome and encouraged, the only thing we ask is that you trust our process and leave your limits at the door!
Our Active8 circuit class is 50 minutes long and focuses on different muscle groups within the body, aimed to build lean muscle as you shred and burn fat! During class you will utilized a variety of equipment, maximizing time under tension and building rep counts for your specific goals. The variety and creativity from class to class keeps each workout fun and functional. Bring a towel, water, and be ready to sweat!
Yoga HIIT is designed to get your heart rate up while you strengthen and tone your entire body. For the HIIT portion of class you will do a variation of exercises, each targeting different body parts for 45 seconds followed by a 15 second rest interval. After your high intensity work, you will begin to recover as you connect to your breath to deeper movement, ending class happily on your mat!
HYBRID8 is a 1 hr and 15 minute class designed to both stress a focus muscle group(s) AND replenish it all in the same session. It blends 45 minutes of heart pumping interval strength training directly into 30 minutes of deep targeted yoga to further engage the muscle fibers. This format helps to prevent injury and allows you to take the time to adequately restore your body after an intense bout of load bearing work.
